What our vehicle inspectors say

Dustin

Senior Vehicle Inspector Region West

I quickly realised that the monotonous processes in the workshop don't challenge me; it's important to me to have a varied working day. In my position as Vehicle Inspector, I have the opportunity to plan my working day independently and work autonomously. The daily interaction with our customers is varied and exciting. Achieving my personal goals and exceeding the company's constantly growing targets pushes me every day.

Team Lead Vehicle Inspection Region South

I am a Vehicle Inspector at CarOnSale because I can perfectly combine my knowledge from the workshop with the convenience of field service. I also act as an interface to the dealership, which makes the job even more varied.

Vehicle Inspector Region North

I have played an important role in the company since my first day. Thanks to the short and direct lines of communication to my line manager, I get answers to every topic really quickly. My voice counts and I can make a big difference. The fantastic team and the great team events have also helped me to form friendships quickly. I was also surprised at how well equipped the company car is.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a vehicle inspection work?

During a vehicle inspection, we carefully check the vehicle data, the exterior, the interior and the technical condition of the vehicle. We use tools such as OBD scanners, paint thickness gauges and tread depth gauges. We document all relevant information using a smartphone and supplement it with pictures. This data forms the essential basis for the vehicle inspection report.

What does the working day look like?

Our colleagues in the scheduling department will put together appointments and vehicle lists for you. You start the day with this information and drive to your customers. On site, you will then prepare the vehicle inspection reports for the vehicles.

When do my working hours start?

You start your working day directly from home. The exact start depends on your appointments that day. However, our dealerships generally do not open before 8:30 a.m., so the earliest appointments usually start at this time.

What does onboarding look like?

We deliberately take time for your onboarding. Our aim is not only to give you the best possible professional preparation, but also to ensure that you feel comfortable and in good hands and get to know your colleagues. Onboarding includes a week of theory, during which you will meet colleagues from all over the company, and a week of practice, during which you will be introduced to working in the dealerships.

Is there a company pension scheme?

Yes, your pension is important to us. CarOnSale offers all employees the opportunity to join a company pension scheme, which we support with 20%. If you would like to find out more, you can arrange a non-binding consultation to get the best possible information.
